Martinsville shuts out Palestine-Hutsonville 50-0
The Martinsville Bluestreaks beat the Palestine-Hutsonville Pioneers 50-0 Saturday night at Martinsville in a conference contest. The win moved Martinsville to 3-3 overall and 3-3 in the South, extending its streak to three straight victories and keeping the team in fifth place in the conference. The Pioneers fell to 0-6 overall and 0-5 in the South, snapping any hopes of a win as their losing streak reaches six games. Martinsville has scored 204 points while allowing 246 this season, and Palestine-Hutsonville has been held to 40 points while giving up 310. The Bluestreaks travel to Macon Meridian on Oct. 10, while the Pioneers host Oblong on Oct. 2.
