Christian Life Eagles rout Kankakee Hope 44-8 in season opener
Christian Life defeated Kankakee Hope 44-8 on Thursday, Aug. 20 at Kankakee (Hope Christian Academy). The Eagles improved to 1-0 overall, scoring 44 points while holding the Central East Eagles to eight, matching their 44-8 point differential from last season's 2-7 campaign. Kankakee Hope fell to 0-1 after its opening loss. Christian Life will host Milledgeville next on Aug. 28, while Kankakee Hope returns home to face Blue Ridge on Sept. 5.
